Get Involved
Getting plugged in is easy! Racer Campus Ministry has several opportunities for Murray State students to become involved in the life of our ministry. Below are just a few of the regular gatherings and events that we'd love for you to join us in.
On Monday nights, we gather at the RCM House for a time of student-led worship, prayer, and biblically-rooted teaching. This is a time for students to be encouraged and uplifted spiritually by connecting to God and connecting to a community.
On Wednesday nights we gather at 6 p.m. to share a meal together, followed by Reach at 7. Reach is a weekly time of focusing on our outward impact to the campus and community.
Fall Retreat is a chance to get away for a weekend in order to unplug from the busyness of everyday life, and reconnect with God. It's also an opportunity to get to know other students, build friendships, and experience deep community.
Celebration is a youth conference for local churches in our area. We go to serve throughout the weekend in various ways. We set up chairs, fold shirts, take out the trash, run the concession stand, making sure that the students who attend have everything they need to grow in their knowledge and experience of God.
Gulf Coast Getaway is an annual conference we attend each January. Just after the new year, we head to Orange Beach, AL and join hundreds of other college students to give glory and honor to God.
This year during Spring Break, we will be taking some time to go do some form of mission work together. This will be a time for students to practice being the hands and feet of Jesus by serving others in need. Details are still being worked out, so stay tuned for more info!
