Racer Campus Ministry

Wes is a native of Murray and served at the University Church as an intern in 2005. After going to Lipscomb University and working in youth ministry for four years, Wes returned to University in 2012. Wes serves as one of our missionaries at Murray State. His primary tasks include teaching on campus, discipling male students and casting vision for the ministry. He works with his wife, Heather, and they have one son, Judah.

Heather grew up in Benton, just a few minutes from Murray, and completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Murray State.  She taught elementary school and worked as an education abroad advisor at Murray State before joining the campus ministry team in 2018. Heather’s primary roles involve discipling female students, coordinating efforts to bless international students and aiding with administrative tasks. Heather works with her husband, Wes, and they have one son, Judah.
